Acceptance and eligibility
These terms govern your use of StartupPact and each service you purchase from Happyhands Accounting Solutions Private Limited. By using the website, creating an account, accepting a quotation or making a payment, you agree to these terms and the policies linked from them.
You must be at least 18 and legally capable of contracting. If you act for a business or another person, you confirm that you are authorised to give instructions, provide records and accept these terms for them.
Accounts and authorised users
You must provide accurate account information and keep credentials confidential. You are responsible for instructions and activity submitted through your account unless you promptly report unauthorised access.
Invited directors, employees or advisers may access a business workspace only within the permissions granted to them. We may ask for authority or identity evidence before acting on sensitive instructions.
Service scope and quotations
The package description, accepted written quotation, invoice or engagement note defines the work included. Timelines are estimates and begin after required information, documents, approvals and payments are complete.
Extra filings, replies, hearings, corrections caused by changed facts, third-party certifications and work outside the agreed scope require your approval and may be quoted separately.
Your responsibilities
You must provide complete, accurate, current and legible information; review drafts; obtain necessary internal approvals; and sign or respond by stated deadlines. You must not ask us to submit information you know is false or misleading.
You remain responsible for business decisions, underlying transactions, statutory records and monitoring communications from authorities. We are not responsible for delay, rejection or penalty caused by incomplete, inaccurate, withheld or late information.
Fees, taxes and payment
Professional fees, GST and estimated government or third-party charges are shown separately where available. Government fees, stamp duty and portal charges may change and are payable at actuals. A GST invoice is issued for payments received.
Fees are payable in advance unless a staged payment is expressly offered. Payment is processed by Razorpay; StartupPact does not store your complete card, UPI PIN or banking credentials. Refunds and cancellations follow the Refund policy.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the website, workspace or uploads; probe security; introduce malicious code; impersonate another person; infringe rights; evade payment; scrape the catalogue at scale; or use the service for unlawful, fraudulent or misleading activity.
We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect clients, professionals, systems or comply with law.
Your data and intellectual property
You retain rights in documents and information you provide. You grant us a limited right to host, review, reproduce, transform and share them only as needed to deliver the service, operate your workspace, comply with law and protect the service.
StartupPact’s software, brand, layouts, service content and original materials remain our intellectual property. You may use delivered documents for your own legitimate business purposes but may not resell or copy the platform.
Professional and AI-assisted information
General website content, checklists, calculators and AI-assisted explanations are informational and may not reflect every fact or later legal change. Verify important decisions with the assigned qualified professional.
No attorney-client relationship is created merely by using StartupPact, uploading a question or purchasing a non-legal service. A separate professional relationship arises only where expressly agreed with an advocate or other regulated professional.
Confidentiality and privacy
We handle client information for service delivery and disclose it only as reasonably needed to assigned personnel, professionals, service providers and authorities, or as required by law. Our Privacy policy, Cookie policy and Security page explain these practices.
Liability and indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss. Our aggregate liability for an affected engagement is limited to the professional fee paid for that engagement, except where liability cannot lawfully be limited.
You will be responsible for loss arising from unlawful instructions, rights-infringing materials or information you knew was false. This does not remove any non-waivable consumer or statutory remedy.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using the platform and request closure of your account, subject to unpaid fees and records we must retain. We may suspend or end access for material breach, unlawful use, security risk or non-payment, ordinarily after giving a reasonable opportunity to cure where appropriate.
Events outside reasonable control
Neither party is responsible for delay caused by government portal outages, authority action, network failures, banking disruption, natural events, strikes, public-health emergencies or other events beyond reasonable control. We will communicate material delays and resume work when practicable.
Changes, governing law and disputes
Material changes will be posted with a revised date and apply prospectively unless law requires otherwise. These terms are governed by Indian law. Please contact us first so we can attempt a practical resolution.
