A practical fit check

Is a one person company
right for you?

Pick it when you want the advantages of a registered company without a second founder.

You work alone

One member owns the company; a nominee holds the shares in reserve for continuity.

Liability should stay limited

The company holds the contracts and obligations, not your personal assets.

You accept company compliance

Registry filings, an auditor and annual returns apply from day one, even with one owner.

Equity may come later

An OPC converts to a private limited company before a priced investment round.

One Person Company

Best when one founder wants a company.

Growth converts it automatically.

Once paid-up capital crosses ₹2 crore or average turnover crosses ₹20 crore, the OPC must convert to a private limited company. Company-level filings also apply from the first year.

01 / Outcome

What you receive,
ready to use.

We prepare and file the incorporation application with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs for a single member, including name approval, digital signatures, director identification and the nominee consent that gives the company continuity. You receive the full registration record in your StartupPact account.
