Built for
Every food business operator
Best when
The tier and activities are checked first
Which FSSAI tier
fits your food business?
Turnover is the starting point. Activity, capacity, location and importer status can change the result.
One premises at a time
Restaurants, kitchens, plants, stores and warehouses are assessed around the activities at each location.
Current turnover bands
The revised bands from 1 April 2026 determine the ordinary Registration, State and Central path.
Risk and activity matter
Importers and specified categories can require Central licensing regardless of ordinary turnover bands.
Perpetual is not passive
No routine renewal does not mean no hygiene, records, returns, modification or inspection.
FSSAI
Right tier. Right activities. Right premises.
Turnover alone can give the wrong answer.
Capacity, Kind of Business, importer status and specified high-risk activities can override the ordinary turnover test. We confirm the full operating profile before filing.
What you receive,
ready to use.
We map every food activity and location, select the correct FoSCoS category, prepare the filing and respond to authority queries. The licensing authority makes the final decision and may require inspection.

What must be
in place.
Every person or entity carrying on a food business needs the registration or licence applicable to its facts.
Registration generally covers annual turnover up to ₹1.5 crore from 1 April 2026, subject to activity-specific criteria.
State licensing generally covers turnover above ₹1.5 crore and up to ₹50 crore, subject to activity-specific criteria.
Central licensing generally applies above ₹50 crore and to specified categories such as food importers, regardless of turnover.
The premises, food activities, product categories and responsible person must be identifiable before filing.
The licensing authority controls approval and can require an inspection or further records; a private filing service cannot guarantee a government issue date.
The current turnover starting point
Bands effective from 1 April 2026. Activity-specific criteria can override these turnover ranges.
